I do Design.
Marketing.
Events.
And a whole lot of other things to be honest.
The Past
For three incredible years, I was part of a team of seventeen at the non-profit organization (RED) – a force to be reckoned with in the fight against AIDS. Fresh out of college I moved up to New York as an intern, making my way up to the position of Design & Brand Manager. From working on integrations with presidential events, Times Square billboards, a Sotheby’s art auction that raised over $13M, and a dinner featuring top cuisine from chefs like Marcus Samuelsson, I consider this brand to be the place I grew up. With a founder like Bono, it’s no wonder that (RED) enlightened me to the fact that my source of creativity in the design space stems from music. After working alongside top managers and media talent of the music industry for two benefit album releases, and a livestream from one of the largest EDM festivals in the world, Stereosonic, I was inspired to dive into it myself.
I left the organization and began to freelance graphic design so that I could also have the time to get involved with all things in the event and music world. This included managing my friend’s band for a year, volunteering at local music festivals, and managing the well established music venue, Knitting Factory. Then, it happened. My first visit to New Orleans, February of 2016 – I was hooked. Just knew I had to get down to that magical, glitter-dusted, music-filled city on the mighty Mississippi. Which leads us to…
The Present
Resident of the Lower Garden District. Still a freelancer, of all sorts. By day, my design abilities contribute to a range of clients including local entrepreneur empowering non-profit, The Idea Village, PR and ad agency powerhouse, Weber Shandwick, and the entertainment marketing experts over at starpower. And when I’m not messing around in Adobe Creative Suite I work with organizations like The Wild Honey Pie to connect artists and their fans in intimate unique ways. Whether leading artist relations for their annual music festival Welcome Campers or assisting with the coordination of their dinner parties. And for the past two years now, I’ve had the honor of helping produce New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW), an annual local event celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit of our city, showcasing emerging trends and innovations, and connecting the New Orleans startup community to the cutting edge of global business. I love being a part of this city.
The Future
Hopefully working with you.
